neat and tidy.
thank you ikea and you for inspiring to be neat.i always thought having a neat room is impossible until i saw you do it.
i am trying.
to be more disciplined in keeping my room neat.
to put things back after i use them.
to leave half my table totally empty so i can study there and do bible study there.
to not use my bed as a storage place or as a table.
to stop leaving my hangars and clothes everywhere.
it's hard.
cos it takes so much effort to not leave things everywhere and anywhere.
my parents, esp my mom, is so glad i finally did a major clean up.
i still have about ten percent more packing and cleaning to do.
due to my long history of being super messy and untidy, my family members say my new found neatness will probably last only for a week. but i am aiming to prove them wrong. i'll show them that it will last at least two weeks. ha.
my room has:
-nine medium sized cupboards.
-two very huge cupboards.
-twenty drawers.
have never done a good clean up since i moved in.
that was nine years ago.
imagine how much dust and junk has accumulated.
cleaning up all that seemed to take forever.
this major clean up involved throwing. wiping. cleaning. arranging. vacumming. washing.
threw away more than ten bags of garbage.
it was physically draining.
but emotionally satisfying.
cos i can finally see my floor and see my table top.
at least my room feels more like a room rather than a pig sty.
i like it more now.
and look forward more to being in my room.
yellow.
shan drew a dustbin.
ryan drew a zpdz.
come draw on it too.
cleaning up is tough.
but maintaining it is tougher.
the real test is now.
i hope i pass the test.
help me to trust.
