the voice of truth is true.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcuiuIwtpa4

The waves are calling out my name
And they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again.
"Boy, you'll never win!""You'll never win!"

it is difficult to listen and believe the voice of truth when all the other voices are calling out so strongly.

"the voice of truth sometimes is made soft when we are sad or beaten by happenings.

but the voice of truth is true."

for you from us.

Say A Prayer (:
for a special friend.

Close your eyes
Say a prayer
God listens
He is by your side
Open your heart
Let Him in
Your sorrow and your pain
God understands

Every tear you cry
Is a wordless prayer
God listens
His heart is with you
Close your eyes
Bow your head
Bringing Him all your fears
With prayer

you're loved by us. and God especially.

the rainbow gift

thank you for the lovely rainbow.

the meaning behind it brought watery eyes.
rainbows are colourful.
but they do have tears too.
in such moments, turn it over.

there'll always be a smiley.

a heart for You

A Heart For You (:
response to church camp.

Lord You see my sin
Still You love me
I am unworthy
Still You chose me
Your love, O Lord
Will never end

Lord give me a heart that is
Wholly devoted to You
To love You, to serve You
To pour out Your love
Lord give me a heart that is
Full of passion for You
A passion that keeps burning brighter
Till the day I see Your face

My heart and my hands
They are Yours
Because of Your grace
I can serve You
I come before You
And I pray

a fruitful day.

a fruitful day.

830-900am.
travel from home to clementi.

900-1040am.
met ailing at clementi coffee shop.
thanks for travelling all the way down to meet me for bible study.
we studied 1 timothy.
and learnt about godliness as a gain with contentment.
and how we are to take hold of the eternal life to which we are called.

1040-1100am.
travel to guitar teacher's house.

1100-1215pm.
guitar lesson at sunset way.
learnt a song with a nice tune!

1215-1230pm.
walk to vanessa's house.

1230-325pm.
went to vanessa's house.
my first time there.
huichen and parvane were there too.
the three of them, secondary four students.
they cooked spaghetti for our lunch.
so pro. thank you! it was yummy.
we watched a scary movie.

325-345pm.
take cab to jurong west to meet emily.

345-5pm.
met emily.
secondary two girl.
thanks for treating me to milo!
i pray she'll have a desire to read your word.

5-6pm.
travel to CCAB from jurong west.

6-1030pm.
went to CCAB for teengames under twenty four basketball.
took a group of girls.
it really was a good experience.
and wai mei really did a good job in dealing with the unhappiness of the team.
i learnt alot from her.
initially the girls looked unfriendly and intimidating.
their coloured, short, spiky hair.
their tattoos. their piercing on the ears and tongue.
but when i took up the courage to talk to them
they are actually a very friendly bunch.
and like what chingyi said, after talking to them,
my heart does feel burdened that they really need the gospel.

1030-1145pm.
travel home.

i need sleep.

walk forever holding hands.

A meaningful song about the lifelong faithfulness in a marriage.

One day, far away, you gently won my heart
And one night, by candlelight, we made a vow to never part
And then it seemed just like a dream
When wide eyed, side by side
We faced the future holding hands

Years fly, they hurry by, the simple times are gone
Bills due, a kid or two, a week can feel eight days long
By fading light, let's kiss goodnight
And then we trace God's daily grace
Thankful we're still holding hands

There's a hope that won't let go
There's a truth we know God is holding us in His arms

Thoughts stray far away to all that lies ahead
In frail days when strength fades
Will we still mean all that we said?
Our love's secure, so rest assured
Come what may 'til that day
We'll walk forever holding hands

By God's grace 'til that day
We'll walk forever holding hands

Monday, June 2
and be thankful.

our 'picnic at botanic gardens' day finally came. sharon. lydia. shermine. three children of God. look at their youthful smiles. so full of energy, so full of joy. they're really loving towards each other. i've so much to learn from them.

this picture is taken by sharon. she found it so interesting cos inside this 'thing', we saw a worm!!!! so she and shermine stood there to take a photo of it!

we talked about the beautiful creation of God. there were so many kinds of plants and flowers. really amazing.

that's sharon's pink-laced shoe. i was so encouraged by her. i only had bible study with them until matthew chapter four, then sharon and shermine's parents decided not to allow them to meet regularly for bible study anymore. today when i asked her if she has been reading the bible, she told me she read until matthew chapter ten already! wow... and she enjoyed reading it alot. she even highlighted some verses. reminds me of what a friend wrote, that it's not about what i can do, but about what God can do for them. and to trust in the able-ness of the Father. thank God that their dad didn't say they can't read the bible. they're still Your children. thank you sharon for the lovely bookmark and what you wrote. and for the little gift - the bible keychain. you're really thoughtful.

we brought so much food that we couldn't even finish them all. we had a one point five litre bottle of coke light, a loaf of bread, two packets of chipster's potato chips, 4 bars of milky bar chocolate, four packets of nuts, one can of tuna, a box of nuggets, a box of sausages, three mini chocolate swirl bread. waa.... all that for just the four of us.

sharon and shermine. sec one and sec two. these two sisters, you'll never see them quarrel. they treat each other with so much care.

this is lydia. on the guitar. after eating, we spent some time singing praises to God. we taught sharon and shermine some new songs too. lydia loves playing the guitar. she plays very well! she was even given the role as singspiration leader for her Girl's Brigade cca. she has been using her talent to serve God in church too. have enjoyed the times with her under the void deck, reading matthew together and hearing her share. she's only sec two, and she's been learning so much from God. thank you for trusting me enough to share. will keep you in prayer. you've taught me alot too. i thank God you've been growing in your walk with Him. after singing, we played 'guess who', and a bit of frisbee, played rolling down the slope, and catching!

shermine is super hyper. she ran and rolled down the slopes and she made all of us roll down the slope too. ha. i rolled down once and was already tired, but she rolled down like about five times la! and after all the rolling down the slope and playing catching, she still had energy to run about, laugh and play! power!! they brought so much laughter, and fun. we did all the fun things that we don't usually do. the most memorable was still the rolling down the slope part. lydia tried rolling but she always ended up in a sitting position! haha... we just watched each other roll down and just kept laughing.

we ended off our day out at this cafe near the visitor's centre. we all had yummy refreshing cold drinks. took many pictures there too! it's been long since i had so much fun with secondary school students! thank you the three of you for being my friends! botanic gardens was really memorable because of the three of you. (:

there's so much to thank God for today. i almost lost my wallet because i left it in the toilet, but because of a series of events, i remembered it, quickly ran back, and it was still there. the weather was so wonderful too. a little windy, not too sunny, and not rainy at all. and it's amazing... lydia and i forgot to bring cups, but somehow sharon just so happened to bring them. i didn't bring serviettes, but sharon brought them. sharon didn't bring paper plates or forks, but i brought them! sharon and shermine forgot to bring camera, but i remembered.

and be thankful.
