coming back on the right path
recently i came into contact with 2 youths who were what people will classify as 'youth at risk'. they were rather quiet, but they were very friendly once i got to know them... i could tell that under the defiant side of them, they actually have a good heart. it's my first time being friends with youths like them... they were open to me and shared stuff with me as well. thank God for that...
they were more chinese speaking, so i tried my very very very best to use my lousy chinese to explain some Christian stuff to them. the China trip helped me to be more confident in using Chinese. at that point in time when i was explaining to them, it was really the Lord who guided me... when i got home, i was trying to see if i could explain it again, but i couldn't... ha...
i felt a burden for them. i believe that Jesus can change their hearts and lead them back to the right path. i think they ended up like that because of bad influences when they were younger.
it's my prayer that they will one day come to know the true meaning and purpose in life.
help me to trust.
